The Bonner Film Series is a collection of short films featuring Bonner Scholars from the University of Richmond.  Watch students engage with nonprofit organizations addressing different social issues in the greater Richmond region.

IMMIGRATION AND RESETTLEMENT

 

Dominque Cressler, '20, serves as a Women's Refugee Community Integration intern at the International Rescue Committee (IRC). IRC has helped 13,400 newly arrived refugees resettle in the United States.

EDUCATION

 

Jess Nadel, '19, works as a mentor at Churchill Activities and Tutoring (CHAT). CHAT serves the youth of East End Richmond and equips them with the heart, head, and hands to make transformative life decisions.

HEALTH CARE

 

Ana Shimeall, '20, interns at CrossOver Healthcare Ministry. CrossOver's mission is to provide high quality healthcare, promote wellness, and connect community talents and resources with people in need.

POLITICS

 

Alicia Jiggets, '19, works as an UR Downtown Student Coordinator, a Program Assistant at the Center for Workforce Innovation, and a RVAGOV Editor. 

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

 

Eli Meisel, '21, interns at Tricycle Urban Ag, one of Richmond's leading urban agricultural nonprofits. Tricycle helps RVA locals grow a healthier future through food access and outreach programs.
